This is in India and in the city I drive on, we have a single carriageway for both sides. In this footage, the two vehicles we cross are going to exit the carriageway at the places where they have stopped. Thus, we were not violating any law per se!

Yes, that is the normal road/cars/drivers in here. This is however a connecting road. Will post a few videos of the arterial roads. We still have a single carriageway here. 4 kms. from home to work takes me 45 mins. on a daily basis.
