Someone said I might have the 0805 not the 0803. How can I check?

I ordered the 0803 but some people have mentioned I couod have gotten the 0805. Is there a way to check this? The box says 0803.

If it has a 2560x1080p 30fps 21:9 cinema mode resolution available then it is not a mini 0803.

If it looks like a mini 0803 and also has the 21:9 resolution then it will be a mini 0805.

If it has gold contacts on the base then it is definitely not an 0803, if they are silver then it is probably an 0803.

Make sure you know what it is before you update the firmware or you will have a big problem!

If 2560x1080p 30fps 21:9 is in your Resolution Menu then you have a 0805. If not then you have an 0803.

They both have a 1080 16:9 option, it is a 1080 21:9 option you are looking for...

I guess that is what you intended to write though! If it has the 21:9 option then it will be an 0805.

I have been wondering the same thing about mine, think mine is an 0805, but now I'm not sure, will have to check the menu again.

Surely it would be a good idea for the manufacturers to put the model number IN THE FIRMWARE???? like on one of the screens, to make it simpler for everyone....

or am i being too obvious?

Yeah that's the first place I checked too. And it seems the true and only way to check right now is to see if you have 21:9 as a resolution option.

Does anyone know which firmware provides 2560x1080 30p 21:9 for a non internal memory 0805?

For some reason all my P are lower.

1280x720 25p 16:9
1280x720 50p 16:9
1920x1080 25p 16:9 HDR
1920x1080 25p 16:9
1920x1080 45p 16:9
2304x1298 25p 16:9
2560x1080 25p 21:9

As the 21:9 is a lower rate than the norm is it still the best option?

Just flip the camera from PAL to NTSC in the AV settings and you'll get 30fps
