I believe I know the answer but just making sure

Have PMP set to infinity and voltage threshold to 12V

Let's say car is dormant for weeks and PMP cuts power since it hits the 12V threshold but then the vehicle is hit triggering all G sensors

Will PMP 'override' itself to allow this event to get recorded, or it is a hard shut off once it hits the threshold voltage setting so I will not have this footage

I know it is likely the latter but want to confirm

There's no smarts between the Power Magic Pro and the camera, just power.
When you turn off the engine, the PMP keeps the camera powered on, until the battery voltage drops, and then it removes power from the camera.
While it's still powered on, when the camera detects a lack of movement, it enters parking mode. Completely unrelated to anything happening in the PMP.
While it's still powered on, if the camera detects movement above the g force limits set, it records an event. Again, completely unrelated to anything happening in the PMP.

When the PMP detects the battery voltage has dropped below the limit you've set by the switches, it removes power from the camera, regardless of whatever is happening in the camera.
There's no signalling between the camera and the PMP.
The PMP only provides power to the camera. Nothing more.
