I cant find a replacement battery,

I'm in the same boat, found and ordered this battery to try. it is 3 pin and the connector looks right

I'll report back once i get the battery in 1-2 weeks

Same seller also have the battery on aliexpress, but more expensive with shipping.

battery dimension is a little different, but I think it may fit as the battery compartment is bigger than the battery

My original battery is 402035, 35mm x 20mm x 4mm
this one is 602540, 40mm x 25mm x 6mm

capacity is larger too :)

Just received battery today finally.

Yes technically it work.... connector is an exact match and camera power on and works fine on battery

BUT it pretty much used up all the space in the battery compartment, so there's little room for battery expansion or for allowing air flow/movement. I worry about how it may affect the camera during hot summer.

If you get this battery, I recommend installing it with the wires end downward with the wires coming out of the corner toward the lens, that will allow more room to loop the wires to get the wire out of the way. be careful to push the wires into the casing when you are snapping the shell back together

Also tried searching for alternatives but have a hard time finding anything this small with 3 wires even without connector

The Mio battery share the same connector and the size should fit

deciphering battery size

default OEM Yi battery 402035 = thickness (in this case 40 = 4.0) = 4.0mm thick, 20mm wide, 35mm long
Max size... and this is really pushing it is 602540 which is the one i ordered.

Some of the Mio batteries are listed as 582535, I think that will be a slightly better fit.
