Street Guardian has the SG9665GC listed

Four years on my SG9665GC V1 still hasn’t missed a beat. The GPS module melted one day had it sitting on dash but not missed it. Still on original firmware. Quality of footage has not deteriorated. I’m glad it has stood the test of time with heat and cold. Thanks to Jokiin and the team.

    Blackvue DR600GW-HD (increased bitrate)

No update needed. The maximum is already extracted from this camera and after over a year I'm still running it with this firmware. As long as this camera keeps purring along I will keep it going. No issues at all.

Street Guardian has the SG9665GC listed

Just realised had my SG9665GC over one year! Video and Audio are as perfect as day one and reliable. That's all I wanted in a Dash Cam. For the curious firmware has never been updated, the CPL like new and survived the summer against my front window. As I don't drive a real lot except for work...

Street Guardian SG9665GC and BlackVue DR650GW-1CH

The difference between quality and perceived quality. The SG9665GC will always win. :)

There is something wrong with my SGGCCPL Circular Polarizing ( CPL ) Lens Filter.

Just went out and checked mine. We have had a week of 40c+ days here in Adelaide. Still like brand new. My car lives in the sun.

Understanding of WDR On / OFF vs EV ( Exposure Value ) Settings

Thought I would bring this back to the top for the new SG9665GC owners. If you have some time and patience to play defiantly well worth it.

    Blackvue DR750LW-2CH. 1080p/30Fps + 1080p/30Fps, Sony Exmor + OV CMOS, WiFi, GPS, 4" LCD,

Great comparison video. Night time tests have always been the most interesting to watch for me as because of work that's when I drive the most. The premium end of the dash camera market is an interesting place. To me features of dash cams are ok but picture quality is everything day and night...

Understanding of WDR On / OFF vs EV ( Exposure Value ) Settings

Thank you niko for your work here. All these values I have often wondered how they operate and now to experiment myself. A visual reference guide like this is awesome!

    Blackvue DR650GW-2CH _ (Custom firmware)

It will not work. I am aware that custom firmware has ceased for the Blackvue. The video quality is pretty good on The DR650GW 1CH and use the correct SD card and format regularly and you should have minimal issues.

DR650GW-1CH what is the bitrate of the files?

I think your support is excellent and your presence here is greatly appreciated by many of us. I will always run two single channel dash cams in my car. The best in the front and next best in the rear. My DR600GW will not be my last Blackvue because I love the design and eagerly await what...

    Joovuu X cam footage

Again great vision. I do think Joovuu X will be a winner. I envy your participation in testing. Unique perspective looking out from car as I found myself leaning in the chair to move car to Australian left hand side of the road. No torture watching as your country side there looks not unlike...

DR650GW-1CH what is the bitrate of the files?

This is where I was when I bought mine. Youtube videos is how I based my decision. While I do not regret my purchase it was a great learning curve on what dash cams are about. As I was prepared to pay a premium the Blackvue ticked the boxes. But where it matters in video and sound playback as...

DR650GW-1CH what is the bitrate of the files?

This is a shame. My DR600GW running custom software at 13mbs has had no issues in over six months. The difference in playback from stock vs custom is very noticeable. Blackvue fans unfortunately may have to wait a few more model releases before they catch up. The best form factor dash cam but...

    Joovuu X cam footage

What is this madness...trailers and caravans left on the side of the street. Bollards out in the road. Cars parked in opposite directions on the same side of the road. Bicycles everywhere. Roads clearly marked. Most cars are four cylinder. You live in an awesome country @kamkar1 and seeing daily...

    Got given a C1

A friend bought a C1 over a year ago and has never used it. Has no interest in setting it up so he has given it to me. Set it up on the dash facing into car. Quite a great little device and have updated the firmware and the footage is very good! I feel my car is all dash cameras now but I like...
