Four years on my SG9665GC V1 still hasn’t missed a beat. The GPS module melted one day had it sitting on dash but not missed it. Still on original firmware. Quality of footage has not deteriorated. I’m glad it has stood the test of time with heat and cold. Thanks to Jokiin and the team.

No update needed. The maximum is already extracted from this camera and after over a year I'm still running it with this firmware. As long as this camera keeps purring along I will keep it going. No issues at all.

Just realised had my SG9665GC over one year! Video and Audio are as perfect as day one and reliable. That's all I wanted in a Dash Cam. For the curious firmware has never been updated, the CPL like new and survived the summer against my front window. As I don't drive a real lot except for work...

Just went out and checked mine. We have had a week of 40c+ days here in Adelaide. Still like brand new. My car lives in the sun.

Great comparison video. Night time tests have always been the most interesting to watch for me as because of work that's when I drive the most. The premium end of the dash camera market is an interesting place. To me features of dash cams are ok but picture quality is everything day and night...

It will not work. I am aware that custom firmware has ceased for the Blackvue. The video quality is pretty good on The DR650GW 1CH and use the correct SD card and format regularly and you should have minimal issues.
