    My old GS600 was corrupting SD cards (battery issue) so I ditched it for a GS1000 orange menu. The GS1000 is OK but nowhere near the image quality of the GS600, so I modified the GS600 with a bigger battery, its just glued on with double sided tape, doesn't look the best but it does the job...

    Yup, this is correct, I did some experiments and the power supply is not a factor, however I swapped the supplied mounting bracket with the bracket from my DOD GS600 and it seems to have improved markedly, actually I am satisfied with the image quality now. The DOD bracket holds the camera...

    GS1000 - Blurry Image

    Just bought a GS1000. When out of the car the image is perfect, but when installed in the car its noticeably blurry. This did not happen with my previous dashcam which is a DOD G600, so I don't think its an issue with the windscreen. I'm thinking that maybe I'll get a better quality 5v supply...
