I just order a pair of these and I am curious if the parking mode delay has been resolved. 3 second delay to not catch footage is a long time.

I can't seem to get the camera to take the update. I drop the file onto the SD card and boot up the camera and nothing but the normal boot up routine. Am I missing something here?

I just got my GT300W and I am curious as to how you turn off the screen while it records. I find it annoying and a potential distraction.
