Yes refocus. When you say stability do you mean camera shake?

its a bit hard to tell really. Had you taken a before and after of the same scene under the same lighting conditions it would/ may be obvious.

ok I got it to work. It really is a case of getting a good grounding. I ended up scraping some of the silver coating off the chassis to get a good earth. It didnt fix my wifi light being on all the time but the camera now works.

what is your metering set to?

the playback on the phone is much lower res. take a look on the sd card and you will see a file that has thm in it. That is what is played back on phone not the full high res.

Thanks Jagger. I was trying to hard!! I was trying to get it connected to my home network. I did what you said. turned my laptop on. Fired up the Yi and it came up as an option on the laptop. All working as it should. Now to see if I can get the 5 yi I have to show up all at the same time...
