Due to the relatively expensive cards I have never tried more than 64 GB. But the manufacturer says that 128 GB is the maximum the Git2 can handle.

Is there a denomination for especially this switch? Could be rather expensive to order one smd device from the US to delivery in Europe... I would like to try to find it somewhere else. Just looking for "smd switch" gives tons of different types. I am not such a great fan of contact cleaner...

Hi, the momentary switch underneath the side button (see pic) in my Git2 seems to become faulty. Do you know the specs of the switch that I can try to find a replacement?

AFAIK it is for actioncams, not dashcams :p Even if it is 'only' an actioncam, that does not mean that you have to abstain from quality.

I know, but there are also people who want to achieve reasonable (and interest arousing) quality, and not using cheapest china quality mics. Try to mention a movie that was published during the last say 20 to 30 years with only mono audio. And think about the reason if you don't find one.

When you want to make a stereo cable by yourself, then use a 330kΩ Resistor. It depends on your soldering skills if you choose a SMD type resistor or a standard one. It makes no difference for the camera. I can't tell if it works well with a mono mic. Here are the pics that you can find on the...

Really hard to guess. If it would have been only one mic, then I would have guessed it was a cable break. But two mics with similar strange behaviour at the same time, ermm...

Obviously nobody (including me) had an idea. Could you fix it in the meantime?

What mics did you use, and how did you connect them to the cam?

You could try another tool, there are lots of them available. Only to be sure. When you don't see any issues, then it could have been just a hiccup.

Maybe you should run a test tool on the card. Just to make sure that the card will not destroy any important or irrecoverable moments.

You can either buy a 90° camera version (maybe you can find a second hand one on ebay). Or you can exchange the 170° lens for a 90° lens. In that case you should install the firmware for the 90° version to make the stabilizer work properly. Installing the 90° fw will work well, as I was told by...

Great to have a positive feedback. I also hope that my Git2's will stay with me for quite a while. At least as long as there is a newer (and better) cam with stereo microphone option :-)

I have never had this issue. But I would install a different firmware version, then I would go back to your current version. Maybe this could help.
