Veckle replaced the defective one. I compare side to side with the new one before i send it back. The new one does not have this issue. So i think its back side or lens or sensor.

I think this is totally different issues than @redrevis and myself's freeze problem. We do not have any footage because of the date rollback/changed.

The dashcam was in parking guard mode.

Happen to me once after over night parking. It seem pretty random.

Yes, I was not able to trigger the G-sensor file lock while in parking mode. I was able to trigger it by tapping the dashcam in normal mode, but not parking mode.

Anyone able to activate G-sensor on parking mode? I was able to activate it in normal mode but not parking mode. :(

Rayman is right. it is -7 in CA right now. 11/5 will change back to -8.

@Rayman.Chan The dashcam froze on me today. I checked the log and look like its the same issues as redrevis. The date changed to 10/22 from 10/31. I have no footage after 2017/10/31 13:18:25.

I literally hit the dashcam to trigger it. (n)

Just tested the G-sensor. It is very very hard to trigger it even in high.

The card was formatted. I am using Transcend 128GB 400x.

The dashcam freeze when trying to change from parking mode to normal mode. It would not respond and need a power cycle to recovery it. I am using Oct.13 2017 firmware.

No, I don't think it is necessary to lock the videos that triggered by motion. I have over 50% of my storage locked by motion in 2 days. If would make more sense to lock video triggered by G-sensor only, or at least give us the options to chose. Regular users would not want to format SD card...
