The problem is, I can’t even find any shop that sells the external GPS. All I can see online are ones designed for older dashcam models.

I need external GPS because my windscreen is metallic and blocks GPS signal. I need to put the antenna at a very specific location, but can’t mount the dashcam there.

I recently bought a Samsung EVO+ 256GB microSDXC, but unfortunately it is not recognised by F750 (flashed to F770 firmware). It appears the SanDisk 200GB is the largest card that can be used.

Will the existing USB cable continue to work if I just replace the cameras?

Is this only considering one channel? I have a 200GB card and it seems to be able to record approx 9 hrs of front+rear.

Yeah, definitely do not use the format button on the cam. However mine has never "told me to format" either.

I've been using the F750 with the 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC for a while without issue (with both F750 and F770 firmware). As mentioned above, you need to ensure the SDXC is formatted as FAT32, not ExFAT. This means you cannot use the format button on the F750/F770 as it will format the card...

Looks like the camera's support for exFAT isn't that good, even though that is the format chosen by the camera itself when you press the format button. I took the card out and formatted it as FAT32 on my computer, and now it doesn't complain anymore.

The format button appears to work correctly at first, and it will start to record video as if everything's fine, but after a power cycle it'll ask to format the card again. Luckily I never turn the camera off so it doesn't really affect me in practice, but hope they release an update soon.

I just finished updating my firmware to F770. It appears to work fine, except that it asks me to format the SD card every time it is powered on. I did not have this problem when using F750 firmware. As a side effect, I cannot load the speed camera data into the camera anymore.

Thanks. Have you noticed any improvements in the F770 firmware compared to F750, other than the super night mode? If I understood correctly, super night mode is only active during parking mode, but I record 24/7 so I don't actually get any benefit from this feature.

So do I simply follow the usual firmware update procedure and just extract the files on to the SD card?

Yes. However due to the space allocation strategy, it only gives about 60% to continuous recordings, which is too little for my liking. Better than nothing I guess.
