    Only image matters

Hi team, We understand you want to share your views on our product on a public forum. However we feel it is best to let consumers share their feedback and experiences, and suppliers/brands to offer their solutions accordingly. You are a competitor to BlackVue in Australia, and we don't feel...

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

They do not offer those warranties when the sd cards are used in dash cams, as I mentioned above with Samsungs policies for example. SD Card manufacturers know that consumers buying their mass produced TLC cards, will only be using them in very small amounts, eg. running a drone for a couple of...

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

Do you mean "dash cam manufacturers" or "sd card manufacturers" - big difference between. Australian BlackVue customers get 1 year through us.

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

We can't be any clearer, you don't have to buy BlackVue cards, that's perfectly fine. But please make sure you buy a card that is: "MLC Endurance" eg: https://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-727 You will find no major brands making 128GB MLC because as we have all found, it is very...

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

This is a Sandisk TLC card, one of the least compatible sd cards for dash cameras. If you are using a TLC cards especially the Sandisk kind, there is a large chance of issues occurring with compatibility. These issues will usually appear within the first 3 months of use, but you might be lucky...

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

We use this program on Windows 10 no problems at all, it's still a very good program for formatting 64GB & 128GB into Fat32.

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

In Australia we offer 1 year warranty on the SD cards and two years on the camera. Your local vendors might also offer extended terms different from the manufacturers standard 6months (cards) + 1 Year (cameras) policy.

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

Samsungs T&C's also state that their warranty does not cover dash cam use. However if you buy from local vendors they probably won't know to check etc and you might still get warranty: "C. Warranty Limitations Warranties provided herein do not extend to any use of the product for or with...

    Warranty on BlackVue SD Card

While we don't void warranty on BlackVue cameras if users would like to try 3rd party cards, we just wanted to mention that BlackVue cards are in fact MLC Endurance rated. They are manufactured in Seoul and are not just re-branded cards. The Samsung you linked while a good sd card for digital...

    Will the 490 2CH Install Using the 650S-S 2CH Wire & Mounts?

Actually, BlackVue updated the coax cable earlier this year to a more solid design. Yes the 1st version of the coax had a small pin that could be damaged if the coax wasn't inserted correctly. However now the pins are larger and more solid; we have not had any repeat of the initial issues ever...

About to purchase - need some info

Be really surprised if you could get a brand new system from them, given Pittasoft don't manufacture those models any more. And I would also not count on their warranty support.

    Best compatible 128GB memory card

One of our dealers sold about 100 of these cards to their customers using the DR650-2CH, and they had issues with a few of them (20 or so). Once they started using the Pittasoft 128gb cards the issues went away. We are just sharing our experiences. Cheers.

About to purchase - need some info

Thanks for your feedback Gil! We can't comment on any new models coming out at the moment. The DR650-2CH 16GB + PMP combination is currently available for $474.00 through one of our premium online dealers, dashcamsaustralia.com.au The competitor 1080P+1080P 2CH model is sold for ~$699 at the...

About to purchase - need some info

Hi there Gil, Thank you for your interest in our products. While we understand that everyone is recommending other competitor products, we would like you to still consider the BlackVue model. There are many dash cams on the market and yes, some have great video, some not so great, and some...

    Best compatible 128GB memory card

The most compatible card is the Pittasoft card as mentioned many times, we have around 300 being used here with no issues at all. Yes we see a lot of restarting when people try and save money by purchasing 3rd party cards, but then it costs them more at the end.
  17. BlackVue Australia

    Restarting constantly

Yes I understand, from your experience it seems fine. We tested genuine cards as well. We have found the new Sandisk Endurance cards to work (so far), so we have always offered them as another option from the Pittasoft card.

    Restarting constantly

If members take your advice, and then have issues with their 3rd party cards, are they able to message you for support on how to fix it? We've made more posts than I can count about the experiences of hundreds of customers using 3rd party cards. As well as the testing we have performed with...

    200GB micro sd support?

We think there is a high risk of issues if using 200gb 3rd party card.

    Blackvue HD Window Resize?

Oh ok, I see know. Yes the 4K resolution would do that. I would suggest sending an email here: taqi@pittasoft.com They may be able to help. But it seems more likely you would be told to adjust your resolution temporarily (I know that's not a solution). Thanks
