Can anybody come up for an answer to this? When I play my clips on my L/T it starts playing the last recorded clip first, then the second from last second and so on, this means that the start of a clip is not following on from the last clip, think about it . It should start at the oldest clip first so as to play all the clips in sequence and then everything looks correctly as in a movie. If make a folder on the L/T , "select all" on the sd card and drag and load the clips to the folder, everything sorts itself out, the first clip in the folder is the oldest clip an everything runs in order, as it was filmed. I have three 119 cams and one 119S this happens on all cams, I have tried lots of different cards, all react the same. I use the 119S as security on motion sensor set on 400ms, a 128gb card will last about 5 days, as other people have found it does not over rite when card is full. Works great with the street lite and is in color.

What type of laptop and software are you using to play the clips? Also, are you using a card reader or simply connecting your camera to the laptop?

Windows 10 on a Toshiba, I always remove card from the camera an use a Adaptor, some cams have the gps function some do not, makes no diffrence

what media player? Windows? I've noticed if I "select all", it plays the final clip first, but then starts from the beginning as normal, obviously not such an issue, but I don't know if its to do with how they're viewed as files in the file window too. For example, if I have 80 video clips in a folder in "grid" view, it'll show something like 48 icons and I have to scroll to see the others, but if I were to select all, it'd play from the beginning of the 48 that I can see (no matter where the first of the 48 starts from), right through, then it'll play the other 52 from the earliest clip onwards!

I live in the Apple universe, and whether on my Mac or my MacBook Pro, the order in which the clips play is dependant upon which software I use, not where the clips are located. For example, if I select a number of clips and open them in Quicktime, it will play the most recent first then stop. I then have to close that clip before playing the next clip. On the other hand, if I select the same clips and open them in VLC, it will start with the earliest clip and play seamlessly until all clips are finished. Consequently, I suspect your media player might be your problem.

VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player. If you don't have it, download it and give it a try. There are others, but I've used VLC for years and have been very happy with it.

I think you are right as to the media player, windows, it wont run at all on my D/T W7 , I have noticed that the first/oldest clip is at top of the list as it should be, then followed by the newest clips in order. I will try on a different L/T running a different system to see if it makes a difference.
