Hi guys, using the 212g for front facing camera been a brilliant little budget camera for family car for the past year & half or so... Currently using a Samsung evo 64gb, but woukd like to use a Samsung evo 128gb but nextbase says 64gb is max... Should I just get another 128gb sd card & format it & see if it works as normally it does even though the manufacturer states it won't lol

Have you any other use for the larger card if it doesn't work in the 212?

In my experience with other cams and from what I have seen online, cams which will work with a 64GB card will work with a 128GB card, but sometimes you have to play with the partition and/or file size settings to achieve that. The usual "no-go" points are at 32GB and 128GB where many cams begin choking on card sizes no matter what you do.

I have a few spare dash cams laying around and also 2 mobius cameras that will accept the 128gb if it doesn't work

Then I'd give it a try if it can be of use elsewhere. No loss that way even if the 212 doesn't like it. And SD prices are good right now too.
