612 4K to 622 4k

Has anyone made the jump from the old 612 to the new 622? If so was it worth it, is there much difference in pic quality? Mainly night time as that's where the 612 struggles.. I can imagine you're not going to get much better daytime footage than the 612 as that was fantastic quality.

Nice, thanks for the videos. It's good to see some decent footage of the 622 finally. I personally wouldn't say night quality is much better than the old 612 going from those videos (I know YouTube kills quality), probably not quite as grainy as the 612 but it still has that out of focus kinda look about it. I'd say the 522 is clearer at night on Youtube personally.

I remember @M8TJT posting why the higher the resolution the worse they are at night. Something to do with the amount of light getting in.

He has 2 Blackvue's and the older one with a lower 'p' is better at night.

Can't remember whether it was 720 v 1080 or 1080 v 1440

I must admit since learning you can adjust the quality of the Youtube video in the bottom right of the video which was only set at 360p, I changed it to 1080p and the quality of the 622 did then look better than the old 612 I must say, but I'd say the 522 looks as good at night minus the big price tag of the 622. I'm on the fence about buying the 622 at the moment, as for the price tag (which is alot for a Dashcam imo), I'm hoping it will be alot better than the 522 and 612.

Mine only gives me the option upto 1080p on Youtube?

Also am I right in saying you also have the old 612? What is your opinion of the 612 to 622 is it worth the upgrade?

Nice, I'm tempted by Halfords they currently have the 622 for £219, I also have a £20 off voucher for Amazon so makes it look abit more attractive.

How many hours of footage does the 622 record on a 128GB SD Card through the different settings?

Haven't tried, I just stay at 4k so standard file sizes, same as always.
