70 Mai shut down after plugging into USB port

In trying to activate my account, I plugged my 70 MAI into a USB port on my computer. After entering my username and password, I kept getting a wrong password notice.
So I went through the registration process again several times to no avail until eventually the camera beeped several times (maybe 10) and then shutdown and will not turn on again.
Any suggestions please.

not sure which model you are talking about, which 'account'?

You may have to try to reset the cam, or re-flash the firmware, if it's available.

Have you tried a different power source? Perhaps the cigarette power adapter that came with it tosee if it powers up again?

USB ports from a computer won't provide adequate power to operate the dashcam

Yes. It does power up in the car.
