70mai A810 doesn’t turn on with 4G kit

Hi.

I’ve installed my a810 with the 4G kit

It works as it should, the 4G receiver is constantly green and I can access the live remote view with no issues and the camera works.

However. When I start driving, it doesn’t wake the camera, and if I have motion detection on, it keeps pinging my phone saying a collision occurred. So it seems to stay in parking mode? None of the buttons work.


If I swap the cable for the regular USB cable and plug it in, then start the car, the camera wakes up as normal.

What am I missing?
Fuses I’ve tapped I’ve changed thrice since I assumed this was the issue. Last time I swapped them, it worked for the first trip, and the green light for the camera was on at all times. Now nothing

I found it's critical to use the correct cable.

Only use the one that came with the 4G car kit.

Make sure you have updated everything as the firmware for the 4G kit improved the voltage levels.


All are done over the air.
If you are using the correct cable check your parking settings again.

Hvor i landet gemmer du dig ? jeg er i Randers of vil gerne tage et kig på dit system hvis det er.
Jeg kør selv med et A810 + 4G lige nu og også et A510, bruger også 70mai power pack til parking guard.

Kan du måske have forbyttet de to +12 V ledninger ?

Salve, ho comprato la A810 con kit 4G, ho fatto installare tutto da un elettrauto ma la dashcam continua a non riconoscere il kit. Mi sono fatta mandare un nuovo kit 4G dall’assistenza e dopo averlo sostituito la camera continua a non riconoscerlo e la lucina lampeggia sempre e solo in rosso… cosa potrei fare? Avete consigli ? Grazie in anticipo !
