I have a Viofo A229 Pro installed in my 2017 Honda CRV with their hardwire kit. The ACC wire is connected to fuse 10 (accessory power socket in the center console) and the battery wire is connected to fuse 17 (door lock), both 20 amp. My battery keeps draining overnight, and I noticed the camera never goes into parking mode (no voice confirmation or auto event detection icon).
So, I did some investigating and found this: When I turn the car off and disconnect the ACC fuse (fuse 10), but leave the battery fuse (fuse 17) in place, the camera enters parking mode. As soon as I put the ACC fuse back in, parking mode turns off but the camera stays powered.
I can't figure out the exact cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
