A119S Rear View Thru Tinting

I'm thinking about adding a rear view A119S.to my truck. Rear window is tinted. Should I try it? Or, cut a small hole for the lens, Or a whole big enough for the camera to be adhered to the window and not the tint?

As @jokiin said most cams will work through the tint (some better than others). An example in this post with my rear cam, with CPL, shooting through privacy glass which is probably as dark as any tint.
