A139 Interior vs Rear

Hey y'all,

Question. The VIOFO A139 Interior vs Rear cameras, are they exactly the same video quality wise with the exception of the interior having the IR LEDs?

I ask because I want to use this lens to have a telephoto camera, but don't want to order the rear and tuck in 6m of cable into my head liner.

Is the CMOS sensor a difference that will not be useful for my telephoto setup/make quality worse?

Both are CMOS sensors, they are just using two ways to describe the same thing. The interior camera would be the infrared version of IMX291 (i.e. without the IR cut filter layer).
