Hey,
is there somewhere an instructionon how to setup the A139 for best quality?

HDR aparently is better at night but worse during the day.
I read the same for the polarization filter. Nice during the day, worse at night.

Some say 1440p + 60fps is the way to go, others recommend 4k in 30fps.

4K
day: hdr off, cpl
night: hdr, cpl off
but firmware is buggy, so auto switch hdr is problem sometimes.

Thank you.
I am not gonna take my CPL on and off every day twice.

Whats the best recommendation:
24/7 CPL or never at all?
Same with HDR

Whats the best compromise?

I think it also depends on:
1) Are you trying to capture oncoming license plates
2) Are you trying to capture North American plates
3) Is the daytime overcast, or sunny
4) At night do you have halogen headlights vs LED/Xenon
5) does your area have good street lighting, or is it more rural

My typical daytime here in Southern Florida is full sun, not overcast. I don't care about oncoming license plates, only rear small format North American license plates with lots of colorful custom designs mixed in with the numbers. I have clear white LED headlights. Streets are very well lit. So from my testing I have decided the best compromise for me is highest bit rate, 4K, HDR On, CPL On.

Your success may vary from mine if you live in an area that typically has overcast conditions during the day, if you have halogen lamps, or rural conditions, especially if you insist on capturing oncoming traffic.
