A229 Plus CPL filter fixing

Hi guys,
I have a A229 Plus dashcam. I must say that it is a great dashcam!

I also have a CPL filter for it, but I don't like that it cannot be fixed securely, One of my friends has the A129 and the CPL filter for that one is very secure attached. My filter seem to just sit very lightly on the lens. If i slightly touch it, it fill fall.
Is there any way to attach it more secure?

It should be a fairly tight fit, are you sure that you have pushed it on fully? Maybe the rubber insert is missing?

Easy fix is to put a small amount of tape around the lens barrel, making the lens barrel a little larger, then the filter should be a tight fit.
You probably don't need a full ring of tape, a quarter turn around the barrel may be enough, depending on how loose it is.

Yes, it is pushed fully, and the filter has the rubber insert. It is just not fit enough.
