I live in an area with hot weather most of the time. 35c - 50c
The Auto Event Detection (AED) feature is very important to me,

When activate, I notice a very intense heat, to the point that I cannot touch the camera due to the overheating.

Currently i switch it off in meantime but still i need it

My question is this possible to have a major impact? or is it possible for a fire to occur, please advise?

Thanks.

1 -One of two variations will occur - the camera permanently restarts or it will shut down and wait for cooling down ... I don't know how this is handled in the firmware.
2 -Some sort of short-circuit type problem could also occur purely theoretically.

3 - It's a good idea to read the manufacturer's recommended ambient temperature range for operation and behave accordingly. The temperature under the windscreen will be much higher than outside the car

At an air temperature of +34°C, after 60 minutes of inactivity of the car with the engine turned off,
the temperature in the car interior will rise to +60°C.
