I bought a A329T (front/telephoto) some weeks ago and it works fine when the RTC420 telephoto cam is plugged into the INT port. I am using the latest latest A329T firmware V1.2_250708. So far, so good.
After reading https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/viofo-a329s_t_ww-firmware.53347/post-650273 and the following posts I thought it would be a good idea to also buy the RCC360 fish-eye cabin cam to use it with the A329T (and the telephoto cam)
As far as I understood https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/viofo-a329s_t_ww-firmware.53347/post-650312 @LeeShadow states that he now runs his A329T with the A329S firmware.
He claims that both the telephoto cam and the fish-eye cam work with his A329T unit. The telephoto cam is plugged into the "REAR" port and the fish-eye cam is plugged into the "INT" port.
I can not confirm this for the hardware I have here now (A329T, RTC420, RTC360)
I use the original camera connection cables that came with the A329T and the RTC360.
First I flashed the A329S firmware V1.2_250708 onto my A329T successfully. Both camera works when plugged into INT port but the RTC420 does NOT work when plugged into the REAR port.
I gave up after several attempts of re-flashing the A329S and pressing the reset button on the A329T and resetting the configuration.
Then I flashed the A329TC firmware V1.1_250710 onto my A329T. I understand that this should be the correct version.
But still I can not use the telephoto cam and the fish-eye cam simultaneously with the A329T. When the telephoto camera is plugged into the REAR port of the A329T it is not recognized.
I checked the S/N (only after buying the fish-eye cam of course... *sigh*) of my A329T and is A329T2CHY16XXXXX. It has an INT and a REAR port.
Does the 2CH mean that the unit will NEVER work with a camera plugged into the REAR port?
But if it should work, how can I check if the REAR port is broken on my unit?
Or did I do something wrong? Do you need more information?
Thanks in advance!
