Adobe Flash

I am using Firefox browser and always have problem with Flash. so I do not use them.
I notice DashcamTalk asked me install flash plug in..
Can we use html5?

Was it maybe an external video link that asked for Flash or does it always do it?

Probably an external link to a video, I would guess. I use Firefox as well and for a time I had Flash turned off; I confused the different types of flash and thought the one I was using was not secure but read up and realized I was wrong. The site always worked well but the videos would not load from YouTube; after I activated Flash the videos now load, no message.

It will ask after log in..and occasionally popup.
it will ask even the page has no video..or video links.

Hmmm...Apparently the only thing that uses Flash for Xenforo is the Upload a File button. Hence if you are not logged in, it won't ask for it. Not sure of a fix for it but I will see if there is anything.

uhmm..I faintly recall I had the "install flash" pop up when I was browsing without logged in. But, it wasn't consistent.
I'll keep an eye on it again..
