Advice needed on what dashcam

my last car had a Neo7 bat and a VIOFO A229 Pro 4K
I moved to the VIOFO A229 Pro 4K after having nothing but hell with Blackvue dr750x-2ch it worked fine for years then decided no matter what SD to put in to randomly not record and not tell me about it a few times. and it got very hot in the car in summer

I'm probably going with a Cellink Neo 8 and giving Blackvue another chance with there BlackVue DR970X-2CH as I hope they have ironed out the kinks at this point. And I miss the cloud functionality


Am i signing up to more Blackvue headache? or should I just get another A229. I just really miss being able to check up on the car remotely

You will miss out on a fair amount of image quality and night time plate reading compared to the Viofo.

Depends on what is most important to you.

Maybe take a look at Vortex Radar’s comparisons of the two, and the Thinkware, if you haven’t already.
