My wife doesn't allow me to go through Intercourse, PA. So I'm usually stuck in Blue Ball, PA instead. Not much traffic in Blue Ball though. They say nobody comes here anymore.
This was actually in Southeast KY. Lot of Amish here for some reason.

These people will also ride on trains. I saw a couple on a train on my leg from NY to Chicago. They got on somewhere in upstate NY.
I saw some Mormon polygamous types while traveling thru S. Utah last year. They are not so friendly though.
