I've been thinking, and browsing, but I can't yet find what I am looking for.

I am thinking of using a small wifi camera (12 or 5VDC) to connect with my android phone, and use the phone for loop recording, like one would with DailyRoads, AutoBoy, Autroguard etc.

Why? Simple, my phone's built in camera is just not good enough. Besides, with that setup I can just use my phone like I want to, without bothering about the view of the lens, since it is remote (+/- 2-5 ft). The app needs to record in background.

That would require a standalone small size camera with wifi, Android software and any Android phone or tablet. I know there are action cams with wifi, but that's sheer overkill of course, just need a cam with wifi feed...

All info / tips are warmly welcome. Best would even be someone with a working setup or knowing of one .....

The device syncs to Google Drive, and Bluetooth and WiFi are built in.

Just select right gadget.
