Another 0806 ordered

I may have spoken too soon. GPS is fine when the weather is, but a bit of cloud cover has that green light flashing.

I suspect that the packer is reducing the signal strength after all so it's time to look at other options. Although the position won't be ideal, I'll stick the mount directly to the glass for now to ensure that I get a good GPS lock that way.

It's a good job I enjoy this kind of stuff. πŸ™‚

I expected it in 3 weeks tbh so very pleased!
You don't pay import duty for low value goods, the only thing you have to pay by way of a tax is VAT (if applicable) and that should be included at time of sale in the price!
 
Do you know how long the hardwire cable is from bare ends to the adapter, and then from the adapter to the micro usb? Just trying to work out how I can best route the cable if I do go ahead and buy one.

Sorry for the delay. Life got in the way for a few days. 😡

The cable from the bare ends to the box is just over 1.4m and the other end is just short of 2m. I hope that helps.
