Hi all,

I would like to buy the Git2 camera but I'm a little bit confused with the different Git2 models.

I have seen on the web site (http://www.gitup.com/) the "New Lens New Git2" with "No Fisheye and No Distorsion".
If I do click in this news that appear in the main page, it goes to an "404 page not found".
Navigating on the site, I have seen the F2.8 lens that you can find here too (http://www.gitup.com/cameras/42-16m-90-degree-fov-lens-with-sony-imx206-sensor-for-git2.html).
Furthemore, in the cameras section, you can find the Git2 which I'm interested (http://www.gitup.com/home/12-gitup-git2-pro-action-camera.html).
And... in the same section, you can find the Git2 with the F2.8 (http://www.gitup.com/home/46-git2standard-packing-with-f28-435mm-16m-hfov-72-13g-lens.html)

And here my doubts:
- Are there two different models of Git2?
- What is the difference between the Git2 (the Git2 link) and the New Git2 (the first link and the last link [I think so])?
- Which is the last one or most modern?
- What is the best camera between these two models?

Thanks in advanced.

There's a Git2 with the regular lens and one with the narrow lens
There is also pro and standard packing for the version with the regular lens. The pro coming with the waterproof case.

Which is best will depend on what you are going to use it for, having both is really the best option!

Note that currently, when fitted with the no-distortion lens, it will not fit in the waterproof case as the lens is too long and there is not currently a separate lens calibration for using the gyro stabilisation. However it does have a smaller FOV making it better for distant objects and there is about zero fisheye distortion. For aerial photography where you don't want the horizon to get bent by the fisheye distortion then it is definitely worth considering the no-distortion lens.

If you are going to use it as an action cam, for sports use, then unless you have a specific reason for wanting no distortion or a narrow FOV then it is probably best to go for the standard version. There are several good reasons why action cams almost all have wide angle lenses with some fisheye distortion.

Thanks for both answers!

Nigel, very clear! Thanks a lot!
