Audio Issues

Does anyone have any audio recording/playback issues with this device?

I have been recording at 1080p 60fps and noticed the audio recording sounds very distorted at times and I'm unsure if my dashcam is faulty or it's a software related issue.

I am running FW 2.5 and using a 32GB Lexar 633x micro SD.

Have you tried 1440p to see if the audio is the same? There are also 2 versions of firmware 2.5 on the VicoVation site. Might be worth trying the other version to see if it helps.

I will give this a go when I get chance and will try the S version of the 2.5 firmware too. I think I remember when I tested the device before in 1440P mode the audio issues wasn't there but will double check. However the issue is usually more noticeable when hearing the sound of the car engine or when music is being played (fairly loud).

Im running the 2.5s firmware and 1440p mode with the audio recording set to medium. I have been very impressed with the audio quality with music and conversations in the car. If you check my review and watch my video you can hear the music quite clear. Hopefully its not an issue with your unit.

I'm curious to see if his audio issue goes away when using 1440p.

So I've flashed firmware 2.5S, set recording to medium and resolution to 1440P, audio seems okay. Will try and test 1080p 60FPS again.
