Audio Sync Issue.

I have always taken it for granted that audio was in sync and for most dashcam scenarios it doesn't generally matter. However... I recently had the need to review to the audio from one of my recordings and noticed that the audio is nearly TWO SECONDS out of sync with the video. Is this a known issue with any specific firmware versions or camera settings?

The memory card has already been ruled out. I've tried more than one class-10 card and have reformatted them. I've also tried a few resolution settings and notice the same defect regardless.

I'm using firmware v2.10.

there's a bug with MP4 output at the moment I think, are you using MP4 or MOV?

That's one of the settings I did not try. I'm using MP4 and was happy to see that new format when I upgraded the firmware about a month ago. I'll switch back to MOV. Bet that's it! Thanks!

Please let us know if that was the problem.

Confirmed today that the MP4 setting was the cause. The camera worked well with v2.10 in MOV mode.

It is not. I am running 2.18 and issue remains. First clip upon starting the camera is OK, but as as soon it "rotates" and starts recording clip #2 it gets out of sync. I guess MOV is the way to go for time being.
