I guess you could reuse a USB-A to USB-C/mini-USB cable that was supplied with the dash camera, but you likely wouldn't get OP100 to drive the parking mode sessions since those cables were not intended as parking mode capable power cables. You'd have to purchase at least one cable with the OP100 to make it a fully functional product [including parking mode]. I'd like to see how VIOFO lists the OP100 on their site when it goes on sale.

If you look at the manual, you'll see that USB-C and mini-USB cables are optional accessories.

Wow thanks for that. Just don't understand why their own help line said I needed a cable that they don't have. I was also looking at the netbase 522GW but again couldn't see whether it can be used in parking mode just connected to the OBD2?

But I have seen the nextbase 322GW with their OBD hard wired kit for 157 euros.
Will do some reading on the 322GW to see if it is a good dash cam

I had a look at this camera but am worried as it says it can run a bit hot, I live in Spain and we often get temperatures over 40C in the summer so that is a concern of mine
