Big lesson learned - Formatting.

Doesn't Blackvue have an app for the Mac?
I always use Blackvue HD to format them on my PC, it's just quick, easy and convenient.

All the software does is open the disc utility, it doesn't select the necessary options.

That sounds annoying
It's as simple as clicking the "format" button in the PC version, and confirming it. Two seconds later, done.
I guess the Mac has permission problems stopping them from doing something like this. One of the many reasons I go PC.
Anyway, thanks for sharing :)
