Hello all, I have a Blackvue b124x that I've used for about 2 years, hardwired. Up until this point it worked fine- charged quickly and discharged fine. However, now it will be dead when I get in the car and when it charges, goes from 0-100 in about 2 minutes. After my hour drive to work, I turn off the car and the battery stays on for about another 30 secs, at which point it will shut off and no longer power my DR750x-2ch. Repeats when I drive home from work. Charging by cigarette port does this as well. Am I to assume that either the BMS or the cells are damaged beyond repair from the odd time that I have left the car sitting for several days? The battery booting up gives me the notion that its not the bms since it kicks on when the car is on. This is the second b124x to do this. Thinking it was my fault, its sitting in a closet somewhere in my house. Where do I go from here?
1. throw the cursed thing away
2. See if blackvue is willing to fix the issue (which I doubt)
3. fix it somehow, where do I even start?
