Version 1.005 (2024-08-12):

1. Added the ability to maintain Internet connectivity on users' mobile devices while connected to the dash cam over Wi-Fi with the BlackVue App.
2. Fixed an issue where the dash cam would intermittently enter/exit Parking Mode when the vehicle's ignition is off.

Thanks for the posts about this update!

I was excited when I saw internet connectivity updates, hoping it'd finally allow us to share an internet connection between Blackvue dashcams, but alas... 🙂

I updated a bunch of my 970 Plus series models and yeah, now I see it notify me in iOS that I can still browse with my cellular data connection even while connected via WiFi. (This LTE dashcam I was connected to doesn't have a SIM card so it doesn't provide internet.)
