blue arrows

Sometimes I get 4 blue arrows when touching the display trying to open the settings.

Camera did not open any any settings only gave me the arrows, no matter were I touched.
After power off and on again same touch opened the settings with no blue arrows.

What is the problem?
 
I've never found a use for the blue arrows...
 
I recall that after a while in use the screen goes blank. When you tap it the arrows appear, protecting you from accidentally changing things when the camera is running. I think all you have to do is swipe across the screen to access the menu.
 
for me the arrows appeared while not recording. I just wanted to open the buttons in the left or right corner.
after several tries with always the arrows poping up I turn cam off and on again and it was working as expected.
Seems like a bug.

What firmware version are you running?
 
It seems it is screen locked, please set it to off in system setting -> Lock.
