Bluetooth button wont stay connected

I had an A129 and bluetooth button. The button worked flawlessly.

When I purchased my A229 the button would connect, but would not stay connected. Immediately after connection it would work for a short time. Eventually I would come to use it and it had dropped the connection. I tried new firmware, battery etc but nothing worked. VIOFO sent me a new button. It connected and worked flawlessly without disconnecting.

Sadly my A229 was faulty so VIOFO sent me another A229 unit. I now have the same issue with the bluetooth button. It will connect, but not long after loses the connection. I've put new firmware on camera, taken battery out of button for a few days to try and reset it etc, but it still loses connection to the camera after a short time.

Is there some issue where once a button has been paired it will not maintain connection to a different camera? Is there some way to fully reset the button and get it working properly?
 
Just to clarify which A229 model are you talking about?
A229 Duo (2022)
A229 Pro (2023)
A229 Plus (2023)
If you have the Pro / Plus maybe use the voice command “Lock The Video”.
Or ditch the Bluetooth button all together, and figure out a different method.

Why? The person paid money for this button and it should work.
I have had the button since the T130 and it still works with all the models I have used. I have never changed the battery.
