We need ANPR built-in VIOFO

We need ANPR built-in VIOFO
How will that help?
Is the Viofo Cloud going to contain a list of wanted plates?

Should be possible with the new AI processors in our dashcams...

The mega AI mesh will protect us @Nigel

Sweet! The news outlet sure did mutilate the quality of the dashcam video.

Yeah, news outlets tend to do that for legal/copyright reasons

Here's one of mine the local news picked up on

Wow that's really cool @98 SNAKE EATER and that 4-wheeler that doesn't know how to go the right way then jump off into traffic like wat

The last part looks like they're framing their friend or it's The Onion

Would you believe she ditched her VIOFO for a Nextbase and pitches for them. Total missed opportunity on VIOFO end.

I can believe it if she gets paid or some free ones.

So I got the following email from Nextbase last week:
We recently noticed your post featuring dash cam footage that’s actually original content from our partner, for which we hold exclusive rights, ownership, and distribution rights. We love seeing dash cam footage shared, especially when it’s as engaging as yours!

We’d be happy to let you keep using the video if you’d consider updating the affiliate link to Nextbase in your bio. This way, your followers can easily find the dash cam brand behind the footage, and you can keep sharing great content!
While I'm totally on board with giving credit where credit is due as appropriate, this does rub me the wrong way. Nevertheless, I have since added a mention in the description of my video saying that Nextbase, a different dashcam brand, has since purchased the rights to the original video, as well as a link to where people can head to their site.

Why give in. Time to get to trolling and disclaimer every post, every video, every product review , that Nextbase uses other brand videos as ther own to sell their products. Even here. Since they want to play that game. What's to stop them from doing it to every dashcam video that goes viral.

They do have the right to buy the video rights, there is nothing illegal with them buying, using and licensing it.
We often see dashcam advertisements using video recorded on a Canon or equivalent professional video camera, not much different.

You can head over to the Nextbase Youtube channel and add some posts if you like, or better still, like the ones that point out that it was recorded on a Viofo!
