My phone is a Galaxy S23 Ultra.

On Sept 22 2025 I purachsed a A329s 3 channel unit. The unit was working perfectly. As of November I found 2 software problems.

1. With the most up to date firmware and app that you can download ( not Beta) I noticed if you play a stored video via Wi-FI it Stops and goes it's like choppy. After Troubleshooting by (Reseting the unit, Fomat the card, watch the video from the unit it'self, download the file there was no problem. The only problem was watching either the live feed or the stored file via wifi.

2. I called I submitted a ticket with tech support and she told me download a Beta Viofo app to my phone. The video is now Smooth when I watch it wifi but I can't download the file to my phone. It looks like it's downloading, but once you look on your phone the file is not there.

3. Temporarly resolution I redownloaded the old ( current app) and I'll live with the choppy video live feed or stored files but at least I can download it.

There is new Beta Firmware on the site that my tech sent a link to ( she did not ask me to download it. She only asked me to download the Beta App) I'd like to try to download it but I won't until I get further instruction.

Anyone having this problem?

When I did the Firmware update about a week ago or so, I did the A329S firmware and the Android Beta
app at the same time. Ordinarily I might do them separately so I could test first one and then the other,
in case there were any issues. But I had a sense that the 2 firmware updates were intended for each other.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, 12gb ram and 512gb storage. I also get a little jitter when viewing
live stream video and while viewing a file, both using WiFi, but when I D/L a file to my phone or my laptop
the video is smooth, at least as smooth as 30 FPS anyway.

If you are still having trouble finding a file you have moved to your phone I will try it again today and let
you know where I found it, maybe in "Gallery"?

Also, I highly recommend putting the Viofo program on your computer, Windows or iOS. I have also used
the free VLC Player on both phone and laptop - works great, no ads, and the free D/L is the full version.

Thank you for responding
I did not update ANY firmware. in your response you stated you updated the Android Beta App. Was that the App belonging to your phone or was that the Viofo Bata App for Android?

This was my issue I had the choppy video with the latest Viofo app from the technical support website which is on this link https://www.viofo.com/pages/viofo-app

What my agent did was give me a website with a link to a Beta firmware which also has the Viofo Beta App on it. I ONLY INSTALLED THE VIOFO APP. I DID NOT INSTALL THE FIRMWARE. By downloading the Viofo Beta App the video was smooth but I couldn't download any files to my phone. So for now I'm using the stardard Viofo App which has the stop and go issue but I can download video's to my phone. once they are downloaded they are smooth.

My Question to the agent is should I also download the Beta Firmware ( she did not instruct me to.)

Here is the link to the Beta site that my agent sent me which has the firmware and if you look though it it has the Viofo beta app
