I clearly see two ports on my A119M Pro, one of them is label power and the the other is USB-C. I hardwired the HK6 kit to power the dashcam and initially plugged in the power from my car to the USB-C port, the dashcam seems to run well with no problem(for around 1 hour while testing and configuring the settings). My question is can I power my dashcam 24/7 on the USB-C port on the side or I need to use the power USB-C port which is on the top of the GPS module. I saw someone online powering the dashcam using the USB-C side port, i dont know if this is ok or its must be powered using the "power" port in the top of the dashcam.

I really must say that the powering it from the side USB-C looks way better in my windshield

What does the manual say about this?

owh, its saying "The USB data cable is only for connecting the camera with computer to transfer video files or upgrade firmware, not for charging the camera."
Got it, thank you
That is referring to the data cable, not the power cable. I didn't see anything in the manual about not being able to use the side port for power (maybe I missed it?). You can likely power the camera from either port without issue. However, if the A119 Mini Pro is like the A329S, then you will need to power via the GPS mount if you want to use parking mode. I don't have my hands on the A119 Mini Pro yet to test. Perhaps a tester or Viofo can chime in here.

Viofo just confirmed that it can be powered using either port.
