Cant Mute Mic??

I just got this cam and have it all set up. It works well from the limited time I have had it. The only issue I am having is I turn the mic off in the app back out and the vid shows the mic with a red x. Ill exit the app but the videos still have sound. I've double check to make sure i turn the mic off but once I back out and go back in it is auto turning itself on.

I have the latest firmware v1.06.180103s and the latest version of the app on my iphone.

Anyone else having this issue or know if there is a newer firmware?

Yep, same problem here on same firmware. I was about to start a topic on this.

@estore009 Vicky, can you please look into this.

Odd,I just have a test with my iphone,but do not find such problem yet!
I switch off audio recording,its audio icon has a red X then;And its audio keeps off even if i exit APP;
So,could you mind to help me to re-act this problem?

My steps were:
- Switch on camera, recording starts, blinking red LED.
- Hold side button for 3 seconds, LED goes green.
- Connect to camera in iPhone wifi settings.
- Open app, click to connect.
- Go to menu - dialog screen warns recording will stop - click ok.
- Switch "sound recording" to off.
- Back to main screen - mic icon has red line through it.
- Close app.
- Open app, click to connect.
- On main screen, mic icon has no red line.
- Click "video recording". LED blinks green, voice prompt says "recording start".
- Audio confirmed on file when downloaded on computer.

tried restarting recording after this point rather than opening the app again?

The file does indeed have audio recorded.

Hi jokiin, I haven't done that at all. Once I received the camera I downloaded the latest "wifi off" firmware and configured sound recording to off through the app.

generally a good idea to reset defaults after updating firmware and then set things how you want, can't hurt to try that

We find it will keep audio off if you click its audio icon to switch audio off rather than to enter its main menu to switch its audio off.
Anyway, thanks for your report, we will look into why it cannot keep audio off when set up within the main menu!

Thank you. The work around by tapping on the watermark mic to turn off sound works so I am happy.

@JDtime @BradR Newer IOS APP had been updated already, you can switch its Audio off within APP menu!
@estore009 The latest verison I am am seeing in the app store for iphone is 1.7.2 and according to it it was release a month ago. This is the version I have been working with. Is there a newer version?
 
We updated this newer version to iPhone Service already, might need to wait one or two days more for confirmation!
Edit: I have a check today 10th, March, its IOS APP had been updated already!
