I just had my car battery changed to a new one on a BMW X1 (2015). I had a THINKWARE T700 installed back in 2021 and it’s been fine. It draws power from an external battery I had installed in the back when the engine is off.
They changed the battery yesterday and it’s supplying power to the external battery (the app says it’s charging) however no lights or power on the THINKWARE dashcam.
They’ve asked to bring it in on Monday to have a look but honestly I think they might have blown a fuse for it. Can hardwired kits be permanently fried if a new car battery is installed?
