A couple of years ago Halfords fitted a NextBase
422GW in my wife's Mini. After a while it "chimed" continually every time ignition was switched on. Customer support suggested SM card was faulty. I bought another from Halfords. Worked for a while then failed again. It is hard wired to the fuse box not through ignition. Friend has reformatted card but now failed again. He suggest software fault in device is corrupting cards. We are both in our eighties and at a loss to know how to proceed. Any advice please.
