There are some great looking options on the market. I would primarily be interested in Blackvue DR900S-2CH and Thinkware Q800Pro.
Now, the one single feature I would like, that I believe is missing from either, is a Cloud Sync. Yes, phone app connectivity and management are important, but the dump of full recordings into the cloud upon arrival back at home when the dash cam automatically connects and uploads the recording since the last sync. This would be awesome! Does it exist?
Even better, if any of the manufacturers developed a Google relationship to sync and push up to Google Drive in some way.
The dash cam manufacturer app could access the cloud-based saved recordings (aside from emergency roadside access from the dash cam itself). Thus, wireless carrier connectivity becomes irrelevant, as does the country in which you are using for cloud sync.
Am I too far ahead of the curve on this one?
Thanks
