Hi,
Planning to buy a Vantrue N5 and hardwire it.
I was thinking to just plug it into a powerbank and connect the powerbank to the USB socket in the car so the powerbank gets charged during driving.
This idea has 1 flaw, there is no "turn on"signal which I would get if the hardwire kit gets connected to the fusebox in the car.
Is there a way to fix this?
thinking to hardwire the ground and ACC 12V and then connect the 12V constant power to a powerbank.
The powerbank is 5V so I should get the wire that comes out of the junction box of the wiring harness and it's only one wire, so would still need to connect the ground/null signal of the powerbank to the ground of the car.
would that work...

reason why, my car is sometimes parked for a week or weeks and hardwire completely would drain my cars battery. Using the powerbank option, then I always have the option to unplug the powerbank for long parking days..
Thanks

Have a look at this diagram, it is exactly what you are looking for.

Here's another option but it cost money.
70mai Powerbank.

It is hardwired like a normal hard wire kit but it also has two types of output
1. Usb-c
2. Hardwire cable

The powerbank won't charge when the car isn't running. I have to check this but i think it monitors the voltage level and under say 12.8v it won't pull the power from the car battery. (The engine gas to be running) (however it also has the acc wire)
It also has a switch on the front of the unit to turn it off.
