Connecting rear camera to a mirror

Hello. I ordered a dvr mirrror Acceo dvr 10 touch screen. It will arrive with a basic reverse camera. I don't want to drill holes in my bumper to install it and think about mounting it on the trunk glass. But it's possible the picture to be very bad so i wondering is it possible to connect the mirror with some more quality camera? For example, some ddpai or xiaomi model. Do you know will they fit if the connector is compatible or they are restricted by the software to work only their dvrs? If they are restricted, the only other camera I've found is on the picture below. Does anyone use it and is it better than the default rear camera?

Mixing brands for camera- and display-devices is a random game at best. Though they likely exist, I am not aware of any "standards" for video signal format. Given that each company likes to "keep their secrets" I would not be surprised to learn about proprietary data formats for transmitting and receiving the video signal. This also applies to which pin on the plug in cable carries the +voltage, the electrical ground, the video signal, etc. There is potential for each company's product to be different and rather incompatible...
