I don't think she knows how roundabouts work!

It's hard to blame people for not knowing how roundabouts work when they aren't given proper tuition in the first place...

To be fair I have seen some shocking drivers from instructors the last few years - the test should have been updated with motorway driving too as it's crazy you're allowed to pass having never been near one!

I can only think they're petrified of a learner making a mistake on a motorway and killing someone - but that is all that happens as soon as they've passed anyway!

Seen loads of people who dont indicate on roundabouts tbh.

Not wanting to be picky but its a Honda civic 😉

I agree. I think the driving test should be multi-part anyway.
If you learn & pass in an auto, you can only drive an auto - the same should apply to engine/car size. If you learn & pass in a 1.0litre small car then that should be your only option for driving until you take an additional set of lessons. this could also be extended to motorway driving whereby you should only be able to drive on the motorway after you have proven yourself capable.

vid has been removed by the YT channel:-(
This vid is in Spanish, I do not think you have to understand the language because how they use them here in Spain is explained in good illustrations.

The roundabout is the same as road with 2 carriageways. So the car in the outside lane does not turn right near another car in the nearside. The Guardia Civil (Police) explains, from his desk, that you do not need to use indicators until you turn off. Unless you want to drive defensively. This is contrary to the rest of Europe and messes with everyone's head, expect the Spanish.

Someone mentioned on facebook a while back that, in the UK, there is no legal requirement to use indicators (at least this is what their driving instructor told them!)
The danger is, if people aren't encouraged to indicate, they will simply move all over the road as they want... mind you, most of the f*ckwits over here do this anyway. I sometimes feel that auto manufacturers should install crystal balls into their vehicles!
And there are so many who feel that the fact that they have put on the indicator means they have every right to simply move into your lane, no matter that they are cutting you up.
There are no end of YT vids showing cars coming down sliproads straight into the path of a lorry - and no end of people saying the lorry should slow down or move over 😵 Completely disregarding the fact that the car is capable of accellerating to double the speed of the lorry & so could easily find a suitable gap & move into it.

I'm up at the other half's house until Sunday night so will check out what happened when I get back 🙂

It's a particularly bad roundabout but this was the worst I've seen in a while!
