Dashcam Hardwjre

Hi guys, I'm new to dashcams and I'm wondering if I could hardwire my dashcam into an ignition-fuse other than continuos fuse because I do not want to use my cigarette charger pot.

At the same time can anyone tell me the pros and cons of using ignition fuse for dashcam, eg reliability of the dashcam

Sure.. most folk tie into an ACC circuit with an add-a-fuse thingmie. Where the power comes from makes no difference to the dashcam.
