Data use "over the cloud" feature

I just installed a Huawei MiFi router in my car. everything is working fine.
However it seems that the camera is using a lot of data. It looks like it is using 1 GB/hour.
It is a lot. What is wrong here?

That's about 2Mbps which is actually very little. A decent cam records at 15Mbps at 1080p/30.
So 1GB/hour is not that much.

Is this just connected, then that is a lot. If you are accessing it I say it still seems very high.
